Right, so it would appear that the art of blogging is a much greater commitment than I at first anticipated. I’ve let things slide…
I waltzed off to the Caribbean at the start of December and didn’t give The Shiny Magpie a second thought. Then returned to a flurry of birthdays (including my own) and festive madness! Not to mention the fact that my gorgeous but sneaky boyfriend proposed in the midst of all the chaos!!! What was a girl to do?! Conjuring up witty blog posts couldn’t have been further from my mind, but that’s all about to change.
As one of my many new year resolutions (Others include last year’s failed attempt to learn the lyrics to Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’ by heart. Harder than it sounds.) I’m going to become a dedicated blogger! I promise not to be flaky and will not let trivial matters such as work deadlines, aged rappers and wedding planning get in my way! You have my word(s).
